Isabella Rose was born in the Whiston Hospital Maternity Unit. The care and the support the family received was nothing less than first class!

The Midwives, the Doctors and all the staff were fantastic with their love, support and friendship. The family cannot express the words to thank them enough.

As part of this care the staff provided items such as cold cots, moses baskets and Joshua Boxes. All containing items which provide comfort for the parents at this devastating time of their loss. They also provided special memory kits to enable the family to take babies hand and foot prints and a lock of their hair etc.

None of this is funded and is often provided personally by the midwives themselves.

It is the aim of the foundation to provide funding to the Maternity Bereavement Fund to help provide these items for other families.

Tommys Baby Charity cover all aspects of pregnancy. They help fund research into stilbirth, premature birth and miscarriage as well as providing information for parents to be. We feel this is a wonderful addition to our chosen benefiaries.
